This session was one of a kind! I was so excited when I was contacted by this family for a senior portrait session. Their children are home-schooled (although they do attend a regular co-op) and the oldest, of three, is preparing to graduate, and was days away from receiving her pilot’s license as well, following in her grandfather’s footsteps. So we gathered with several of her family members, including her grandparents, mother and siblings at the airport to get portraits with the airplane. I loved this! I had taken pictures like this years before (2012!) but it it has been a LONG minute, so I was thrilled for the opportunity, and she made it even better by showing up with her Bible! She told me that she aspires to be a missionary pilot one day, and let me tell you, I’m all in for that idea, and I hope she gets to do just that. I just loved all the ideas she came wanting to try, and her bubbly sister was in on all the fun, with lots of ideas of her own. Their relationship was too adorable for words. #goals for sure! No doubt – Mom and Dad did a splendid job raising those kids. Mom even told me that the hardest part with them is that it gets really loud every night because of all the giggling that goes on. I wish her the very best in all her endeavors and hope she is that missionary pilot one day soon!
