Okay, so this session was actually photographed almost two years ago. I couldn’t bear not to share it with you, however, because this couple is too darn adorable, and they are also good friends of mine (and still adorable), and just because it’s two years later doesn’t mean it’s too late. They met at church, before I started attending the same one, and got married in a quiet, intimate ceremony, just the two of them with the pastor and his wife, so they didn’t have any wedding pictures. When I met them on a trip to Israel (yet another thing I desperately need to blog….), I told them that I NEEDED to give them pictures, because everyone should have wedding pictures. If not actual pictures from the wedding, then at least pictures to showcase their abiding love and affection for one another, heirlooms to be treasured for years to come, to show children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. They barely knew me at the time, but I’m glad they took me up on this offer, because this session was just so special, and getting them to show that abiding love and affection? Well, that wasn’t hard at all.
