{Dallas Senior Session | Deep Ellum Couple Portraits}

Leave it to the photographer mom to wait until two months after graduation to take senior pictures of her own kid! A combination of factors led to the delay – a month straight of constant rain in the Spring, work schedules that never seemed to coincide, travel schedules (I travel a lot during the Summer), and our desire that his girlfriend join us for the session (which meant one more person whose schedule also had to coincide). When you’re hoping to get genuine smiles from a senior boy, a surefire way to achieve this goal is to bring along the significant other!

We finally managed to pick a date just before his darling girlfriend went off to college for the Fall, and we chose an urban setting, and had so much fun hanging around Deep Ellum in Dallas. It might have been a senior portrait session for my son, but I couldn’t help but grab a few solo pictures of her as well, and of course some couple portraits as well, because they are just too cute, right?

Now that both of these Flower Mound High School graduates are busy with life – she is off at college, enjoying her studies, sorority life and new friends, and he is busy working full time and studying locally, pursuing a degree in business. I’m so glad we finally got this session in just in time!
