I look forward to photographing this family’s Fall portraits every year! They are so fun and their son always makes sure to make all the funny faces and poses, and Dad always gives me a challenge (which I love) to test me and see if I can capture his smiles (I’ve discovered through the years that two things are sure to get smiles – posing in front of dumpsters and being with his dog!). The dog is totally adorable but I can’t say he thinks the same about me. No worries; I’ll keep trying!

In the past we’ve gone to various locations in Flower Mound and Lewisville for pictures, but this year we had the photo session in their home, something I love to do but don’t often have the opportunity. We traveled their beautiful home, stopping to get some fun images of their boy playing with his beloved lego blocks. I was pretty impressed with his creations which adorned the room! Every time the dog got in the picture, everyone was immediately happier, so I know that dog is well-loved, as well as each family member. I can’t wait for next year already!
