Over the next few posts in this blog, I’m going to be posting sessions that are older, photos I took in the past that didn’t make the blog (because I didn’t post on this blog for a long time!). While the large part of what I do as a photographer is concentrate on photographing families, I do also shoot couples and weddings, which I also love to do! For this couple, I had the pleasure of capturing their engagement in real time, and document the proposal itself.

It was so sweet! I brought my daughter to photograph so I could remain discreet, and so it would look like I was there taking pictures of her and could then turn around and focus my camera on the couple when he popped the question. They were the cutest couple, so full of love and joy, and of course she said “Yes!” and we took lots of pictures in the late evening light of the happy, newly engaged couple.

I imagine they are married now, and I wish them the utmost joy and fulfillment in their marriage together!
