It’s been nine years now since I moved from Michigan to Texas, and had to build my photography business from scratch in a brand-new place, which isn’t always an easy feat! But I began to find new people to get in front of my camera, and one of the earliest families I had the great pleasure of photographing in Dallas was, at the time, parenting two young toddlers and expecting a third. Fast forward a few more years and two more kids (in quick succession!) were added to the mix. And as I am also a mother of five children born in a relatively short window of time, I’ve always felt a bond with this family. Well, and plus they are funny and adorable and cute as buttons and so happy all the time, and they are constantly coming up with ideas of what I can do for the next picture – especially silly faces because you gotta do the silly faces – so a photo session with these guys is never boring.

This one was just a short petite session in the bluebonnets this past Spring, but we filled it up with as much fun and laughs as we possibly could squeeze in during our time together, and there was not a dull moment to be had.
