{Texas Family Photographer | Southeast Michigan Mommy and Me Sessions}

I have had the honor of going up to Michigan each year and photographing this amazing family every year since I moved to Texas. Ironically, I never knew them as a client while I actually lived in Michigan! I only met them after I moved to Dallas, and started photographing their family on my annual trips to Southeast Michigan every Summer. With three very young boys, including a pair of one year old twins, the main goal for the first two years was to get a single solitary picture of the whole family smiling for the camera, something we literally spent the entire session trying to do, with varying levels of success. ;). Fast forward 9 years, and smiles for the camera are plentiful, as are hugs, and headlocks, and maybe some fancy ninja moves, and plenty of offers to make poses and dances and requests for me to do video. I feel like one of the family now. This past time Dad was unable to join us as he was out of town, so it was just a Mommy-and-me session with Mom and her three boys, but man do I love a sweet session with a mother and her sons. There is such a special bond a mom shares with her boys and I love to capture that from behind my lens.
