Hang on to your hats, everyone, because this is going to be a long one!  While I love photographing a LOT of things, and I mean, a LOT, family photography will always hold a treasured place in my heart.  As a mom with a hearty-sized crew of my own, I know how much there is to express when your heart is full to bursting with love. I can’t help but to adore the expressions, connections and energy that exude from the families I photograph.  I want to capture every detail, every affectionate touch. I want to record every silly giggle and every jammin’ dance move.  I have, since the beginning of my photography journey, gone out of my way to make every single photography session a truly unique, and totally FUN, experience. One that celebrates their special unit and the distinctive bond they share, and every wacky, crazy, silly, loving, and even sullen moment that manifests naturally during our time together.  I want the pictures that hang on their walls to be ones that scream their very essence, that make them refocus on everything they love about one another.  One that makes them smile every time they walk through the room and catch a glimpse of their people.

As I have not shown myself to be the most proficient blog-poster, I am going to make this post, dedicated to family photography, showcasing all the beautiful families that I photographed in 2016.  All in one post.

I must also mention that choosing favorites is also not a strength of mine (can’t I just choose them ALL?)….So be prepared for a lot of scrolling.  It’s worth it, though, I promise!
