Changing my Blog Focus

Hi everyone!  Since it’s crystal clear that I will never, ever, ever, ever catch up on this blog and be able to blog every session I have had, not only this year but LAST (GULP), I have decided, since I post my photography and all my favorite images from my family and child photography sessions on my Facebook page, that I want to take this blog in a little bit of a new direction.  I still plan to post many of my favorite images, and showcase photographs I love, but that won’t be it.

While I will continue, happily, to accept client sessions (see here for information), I have also been enjoying the newer aspect of my business – teaching and mentoring other photographers and designing and facilitating mini-photographer workshops we call “shoot-outs.”  As a mentor and teacher, I want to offer more information for other photographers – expert and novice alike.  Think:  nuggets of wisdom, tricks of the trade, things I learned the hard way, before and after demos, videos, and advice.  I would love to see this blog become a place to find not only images I hope will inspire you, but information and advice you can use in your own photography journey.

So here’s to the future of SallyKate Photography – I hope that you and I can learn, grow, inspire and be inspired together!

I’ll finish this post with several images from, oh, a year ago.  Since they are seasonally appropriate, it seems as good a time as any. 🙂
