In May, I had the immense pleasure of conducting a photographer’s workshop in Texas with the amazing Jackie Jean. We had four shoots (in a day and a half! Whew!), 2 lovely families and 2 styled themed shoots. Lucky for us, the rain that had plagued North Texas for the ENTIRE month of May, dried up and went away RIGHT as our workshop started. I’d say that was providential. While we were exhausted, muddy and filled to the brim with photographs to edit, we were inspired, excited and successful. The models for our workshop were darling, the weather was ideal, and the company was perfection.
The workshop began with this beautiful family of four, for a 40’s themed urban shoot.
Later that day, a circus-themed extravaganza. So much going on, it WAS indeed a circus! But the most fun circus EVER.

Next day, bright and early, and I mean EARLY, we met this brave family of seven for a beautiful sunrise session. The family woke up at four a.m. for this, can we all say “wow” to that?

And, for the finale, we had some gorgeous girls come join us for an incredible “Glamping” photo session. Totally fun and a great way to wrap up the whirlwind weekend of photography, community and fun.
