Ah, June. June means: Summer. School’s out. Freedom. Vacation!
Right after the kids finished their school year, our family piled in the car for a weekend trip to Galveston Island, Texas. While we weren’t exactly prepared for the insane piles of seaweed on all the beaches, and we DEFINITELY weren’t prepared for the sun being higher and hotter here (we had blistering sunburn to show for it), we had a lot of fun.
The best part? I finally took my boys out for a photo shoot. They so rarely get into my photos these days (their choice), I was thrilled that they conceded to this shoot of mine, and it only cost me a couple pints of ice cream.
Every month I collaborate with several other photographers around the country for this Life by Lens project. Be sure to follow this link to see more wonderful summertime beach photography by the talented Florida photographer, Nghi Le!
some beach fun….
