I always LOVE photographing the families of other photographers. For one, they (the adults especially) are naturals at posing and up for just about everything, and for another thing, the kids are used to being in front of a camera. And, as we all know, children are almost always better posing for other people than their own photographer parents. 😉
At any rate, when I had the opportunity, while I was in Wisconsin, to photograph this crazy-fun family, Danah of Danah Zoulek Photography and her husband and kids, no way was I going to turn that down! The day started out with the childrens’ request – they wanted me to photograph them playing with ALL THEIR TOYS, this was vital. Then we traveled around town, hitting a lot of favorite spots, ending with a silhouette of Danah in her shooting glory.
Next day was family bath time! (don’t worry, kids had bathing suits on!), and it wouldn’t have been complete without including the two dogs. Who might or might not have been less than enthused about that.
It was so much fun I could barely stand it, can’t wait for my next trip!
