Dramatic Maternity

April came to visit from across the country – Nevada – where she runs her own photography studio, Works of Love Photography. It’s always fun and exciting to photograph another photographer! They sure know how to dress, and to pose, and they are more willing to accommodate you when you come up with all sorts of ideas and locations to ensure a ton of variety. I had so much fun with April, and her sweet family. Don’t you think they are all just gorgeous?? And I promise, the skies in the pictures below are 100% real – no special fancy composites. Michigan definitely knows how to put on a good show in the sky. 🙂

what a fantastic session….I have a hard time picking a favorite….the sky ones are just awesome….as are the ones in the trees….but I think my favorite is the one of her laying down…that dress is just gorgeous…reminds me of a fairy tale image. Gorgeous work and Gorgeous mama to be.

a couple different places – Hines Park and two places in Ann Arbor 🙂 The cloud ones were Hines Park.
