{White Lake, Michigan Southeast Michigan Family Photographer Child Photographer}

We scheduled this session months in advance, as this lovely family was coming together for the holidays and wanted to have the whole family photographed (dogs included!).  We couldn’t have been more blessed to have a day with some beautiful sun and temperatures that didn’t kill us!  Of course, the sister visiting from Arizona was hoping for a bit more snow than what we’ve gotten thus far, but we northern folk didn’t mind the lack of snow so much.

I love families, love capturing the connection and the love, love watching them interact and laugh and have fun.  I love it when their animals join us, too!  The more, the merrier in my opinion.  Dogs ARE family, after all.  Right?

We made sure to get a shot by a tree that was very special to the family.

and then we just ran around and made sure to get pictures of everyone in lots of different places.  Running around in cold temps is a good way to keep warm anyway.

Even the dogs showed love.  Here is big brother and his kid sister.
