I was so excited for this session. Of course, because the kids are so adorable and they have freckles, and I’m totally crazy about freckles, but also because this is the family of a dear friend, one who moved a while back, and one who I have definitely NOT seen enough! Our kids have always been buddies, and so everyone was excited to have the crew all back together again. It was freezing outside. Even in the best of weather, it’s hard to get four kids to cooperate all at the same time (ask me how I know), but when you ask them to pose for multiple pictures, in the falling snow and with no coat, you’re asking, well, kind of a lot. But, with the promise of a big Chinese dinner with lots of rice, we managed out there in the cold, and we all enjoyed our Chinese dinner (and much needed catch-up time), with nary a case of frostbite in the lot.
Now to make sure we don’t go that long without seeing each other, EVER AGAIN. I already have all sorts of plans for their Summer photo shoot.

I am biased as I’m their Grandma, so I naturally think all of them are beautiful. But the quality of your work is beautiful too, I love the range of pictures, with serious and silly, black and white and color. You captured the essence of this beautiful family, beautifully! Thank you!
So beautiful! Love these!
