I’ve been exclaiming my giddiness over shooting little boys, but I have to say, I like photographing the Senior ones, too.  The first time I worked with this family, this handsome young man was still a little boy (in fact he fell off a swing and nearly gave us all a heart attack), so getting to see him after a few years and discovering an ADULT standing in front of me was super awesome.  His family always keeps me laughing, so I loved hanging out with his mom again (I mean, anyone who has had a Honey Boo Boo doorbell chime is a pretty cool person in my opinion), even when the sky opened up and poured BUCKETS of rain on us, thankfully at the end of the session.  He was so mature and kind, too, so of course the session was fabulous.  We went to downtown Detroit for this, and having not been there for several years, I was blown away by the changes this city has made and how totally COOL the city is now.  I am going to make a point of revisiting this area in my future ventures to Southeast Michigan.
