{ Texas Family Photographer | Austin Family Photography}

Okay, so this wonderful gal – a photographer in Austin – hired me to take her family photos, and while she was perfectly willing to come up my way to Dallas or meet halfway, I volunteered to make the trek to Austin, partly because I love hotels (and being alone in hotels) sooooo much, and partly because I am sort of addicted to Audible.  It’s perfectly glorious for me to get all those uninterrupted hours to listen to my books.  So, Austin you say?  OKAY!

It turned out to be a very good choice for me because the location she chose was straight out of a photographer’s dreams.  I get to this adorable little neighborhood theatre,  and I can hardly wait to get started.  Hey, let’s get pictures by this amazing greenhouse!  Oh, let’s take pictures in the cool bus!  In front of the bus!  Hanging out of the bus!  Oh wait, here’s a giant moon.  Let’s get pictures there!  But wait, look at the light by this cool metal wall!  There are bathtubs???  And a moped next to a vintage camper?  GAHHHHH.  It was major sensory overload for me, but in a good way.  As someone who is prone to be distracted by a feather floating in the air, this was seriously too good to be true.

Throw in the most perfect little family of four and you’ve got yourself a dream come true.  As soon as you pry the girls away from the bus.  🙂
