We stole away for a weekend to the gorgeous white beaches of Gulf Shores, and couldn’t have picked a better weekend, as it rained in the days both preceding and following our time there. We were blessed, however, with plenty of sunshine. We brought our dog, my daughter’s BFF (who might as well be our daughter as she comes on all our trips), and our son’s girlfriend, and spent two days doing what I love most – being in the same place all at once. My kids might live within a few miles of our home, but with busy lives and work and school schedules, it’s no small feat to get everyone in the same place at the same time! So, of course, a photo shoot was in order. Thank goodness for my daughter’s friend, who is pretty adept with a camera, so I was able to sneak into a few pictures.

We were able to get it all in, even with the rapidly diminishing sunlight. Couple’s portraits, sibling portraits, mother-daughter portraits, individual portraits, even a pet portrait. Even if my kids hate all of them, I’m so happy to have them. And I’m already looking forward to next year!
