I am a sucker for Spring flowers. North Texas does not disappoint, and April showers certainly bring May flowers in this state, but April showers also bring….May showers. And lots of them! So every year the trick is to try and wiggle around all the clouds and storms and rain and wind and tornado threats and get out there to capture as many gorgeous May flowers as you can before everything turns brown for the Summer! Thankfully, a LOT of praying paid off this year because despite a very un-promising weather forecast, my weekend of mini sessions in the gorgeous Richardson wildflowers ended up going wonderfully and we stayed blissfully dry throughout. The flowers were exceedingly robust this year which was an added treat for me and for my clients, so that made this year extra-special, and I had so much fun capturing memories and beauty for these precious families and their sweet children, and already I can’t wait for next year.
