Vol IV – Ice and Cupcakes

{ Flower Mound Child Photographer | Dallas Children Photographer | Dallas Child Photography }

So, I timed my move to Texas “just right” and managed to stick around in Michigan long enough to enjoy one of the coldest and snowiest Winters on record in the last 100 or so years. When I say cold, I mean COLD.  Too cold to go sledding, too cold to go to school many days, too cold to venture outside without your face and all your extremities feeling extreme pain.

On one of these very frigid days in early February, 2014, I went out on a mentoring excursion to work with Gretchen of Gretchen Noelle Photography, and we braved the elements for, oh, about 45 seconds before I couldn’t feel my fingers anymore, and my children (my dutiful models) were frozen solid.  So we happily retreated to the warmth of a cupcake shop to finish out our February session.
