Whew, WHAT a month. August and September were a flurry of activity. The kids and I drove back to Texas after an extended trip to Michigan, and we kept busy starting up the school year, diving into Fall sports, and working on some fun personal projects, and taking our kids out for styled photography sessions and playdates with their friends. In that time, I also took a trip to Utah for my first-ever photography conference, Clickaway. Amazing and life-changing experience. Afterwards I took a quick trip to Montana to visit my parents and their fur-babies, and I had some fun shooting some non-human subjects for a change. 🙂
Some pictures from along the way….

Sally, you have the magical touch with that camera of yours….your images are always so stunning…looks like you and your kids had a fun road trip…love the Montana pictures. Sorry I didn’t make it to Clickaway to see you.
I was just thinking the same as Reena. You have such a gift for capturing moments and emotions in just the right light. Love everything about these!
Magical indeed. Your photos continuously blow me away!
I know you’ve heard it from me a million times, but you truly are my fave photographer! Your ability to capture love, life, and emotions is absolutely breathtaking. And your use of light? I need to channel my inner Sally or something!
