Magical Eraser

{ Metro Detroit/Ann Arbor Michigan Child and Family Photographer}

I recently had a chance to be part of a group of awesome photographers and join in a project.  The assignment:  to illustrate, in photographs, a poem from Shel Silverstein’s “Where the Sidewalk Ends.”  I adore Shel Silverstein (I say you’re never too old) and absolutely love how his whimsical tales spur the imagination.  Although there are MANY poems I’d like to pick over the course of the Summer, I chose “Magical Eraser” for my first project.

pencil on white with line from shel silverstein

girl gagging and pointing at her brother

brother and sister glaring at each other with arms folded

girl sticking tongue out at brother

boy "erasing" sister
