New Camera!!

{Southeast Michigan Lifestyle, Family & Child Photographer}

So.

I was visiting a good friend (pictures to come!!!!) in Arizona last week, and, my camera suddenly died.  Just stopped working.  Okay.  I was sad but I bounced back.  I’ll fix it when I get home.  I have my backup! A day goes by, and, my camera suddenly died.  Just stopped working.

You did not just experience deja vu.  I wish it was so simple.  What are the chances of TWO of my cameras dying within a day of each other, for two totally unrelated reasons?  We drove all over town, troubleshooting, and determined that it was not the batteries, as we had hoped, but that my cameras were toast and I was miles from home.  Because I can hardly breathe without a camera for more than a couple of days, we tracked down some wonderful people to lend us theirs, but I had to act quickly and I bought a new camera.

I had a new lens already sitting in a box waiting to be attached to a shiny new camera, and when I put them together, well, it’s Love.

Michigan didn’t have such lofty plans as I have had, but I took my kids out for a few impromptu shoots to try out my new toys, in the gray ick of Winter.  And compared to the cost of a new camera and lens, the cost of a few Slurpees (current bribe of choice) was a small price to pay. 😀

I think this is our cue – we’re about done, folks.
