I had the pleasure of spending a morning with this adorable little cutie and his loving parents. As the only child, he relishes in his princely status and clearly adores his doting parents. Any amount of love, however, doesn’t eliminate the need for a good baby power-nap, and I was definitely cutting into some precious nap time. We rallied, though.
This baby had some serious licking skills – look at that tongue!
His parents were so wonderful. They pulled out all the punches in hopes of distracting him from his hopes of napdom – dancing, singing, entertaining.
Um, yeah. He was playing hard-to-get.
Being naked is WAY more fun than posing out here in the cold ,and in this huge coat.
Ooh, I know what will make him smile! Take him out on the deck in the freezing cold with no shoes!!
No?
He was so adorably delicious, frowny faces and all, but he did give us a few happy faces too.
He did get a special treat – his first encounter with his grandfather’s impressive can collection. Now, let’s hope that doesn’t become the go-to place for him to venture in hopes of gathering tower building supplies.
Thanks to the family, and special thanks to J for letting me come in and torture, erm, I mean delight you with all these pictures. You are precious, smiles or not, and you’re a lucky fellow to have parents with such an intense love for you.

These are fabulous, Sally! But #2….those eyes!!! You’ve captured some precious moments!
He’s so sweet, what gorgeous eyes! the last shot is a fun perspective, really shows his size 🙂
Oh my goodness that second shot is just gorgeous!! I love all the different shots you got here. The ones reading the book with mom, the smiles, the crying, the first encounter with grandad’s can collection. They all add up to a more rounded view of life with a toddler. Wonderful.
What a great session! So much variety, and what a cutie! Love how you captured his many looks and moods! Great work.
He is just darling!! He has the most amazing eyes and lashes (boys always get the best lashes). What a cutie! <3
